Started small years ago and we are still here at 3/ A Convent Lane in Tangra. It’s a bit of a crowded spot in Tangra but we manage to get our work done. Some days the machines never stop at all and other days it is a bit more quiet. We just focus on making what people ask for without making a big fuss about it. The room gets a bit warm in the summer months. Most of the people working here have been with us for a long time now. We know each other’s habits and how we like our tea. It’s not a big fancy factory, just a place where things get made by hand and machine. Sometimes the delivery guys get lost trying to find our lane. We usually just shout out from the window to guide them in. It’s just how things work here. We deal with lots of different fabrics every week. Most of it is just plain, hard work. No fancy talk or long meetings. We show up, do the stitching, and go home to our families. People around here know us by name. We don’t do any advertising or anything like that. The work speaks for itself if you look at the piles of clothes ready to go out. We keep the tea kettle going most of the afternoon to keep us moving. It’s just a normal day-to-day business. We handle what comes our way. Not much else to say.
