You can find us over at 5 Kumbhariya Tala Lane, which is very near the Sovabazar Metro Station in North Kolkata. This is one of the oldest parts of the city, and our office is in a building that has seen a lot of history. We handle engineering and infrastructure work under the name Acs Engineering And Infra. Our space is pretty basic, with a few rooms for the staff and a lot of space for project documents. It is often quite noisy because of the metro and the general bustle of the Sovabazar area. We spend most of our time planning out infrastructure projects and coordinating with various contractors. It is not an easy job and there is a lot of pressure to get things right. We don't have any corporate polish here. It is just a group of us working hard and sometimes getting our hands dirty on the job sites. We rely on the local shops for our daily tea and snacks, which is part of the routine. The work involves a lot of technical details and sometimes the paperwork seems never-ending. We don't try to sound like a big fancy company. We are just local engineers who know how to get things built. Some days are incredibly stressful when things aren't going to plan, but we just keep pushing forward until the job is done. It is just a normal, busy engineering office.
