Aayushmann Skill Academy Llp is based on the first floor over on Shyama Prosad Mukherjee Road. If you look for the LP 84/8 landmark, you can find the building easily enough in Kolkata. It is a busy street with lots of traffic and noise outside, but inside we just focus on the skills training. Our office is at 144B and it is not a huge space, but there is enough room for the desks and the people who come in to learn. We have a small team here and most of us have lived in West Bengal our whole lives. We started this place because there is a clear need for practical work, not just reading out of old books. We do a lot of hands-on things every day. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit narrow, so you have to watch your step when you visit. We keep the place as clean as we can, though it gets a bit dusty from all the cars on the road. We do not have a big lobby or a receptionist in a suit. Just some chairs and the equipment we use for teaching. Sometimes the coffee machine breaks down, but we usually get it fixed quickly. We spend our mornings getting everything ready for the students. It is a steady pace here and no one is rushing you. We just want people to get the hang of things.
