Aakshitha Fashions

Aakshitha Fashions is located at 9 A in the Esplanade area of Kolkata. Being near the K C DAS Sweet Shop is a big help because everyone knows that landmark. If you are walking around Esplanade, you can just ask someone for the sweet shop and we are right there. The shop isn't very old, but we have settled into the routine of the city. Kolkata is always loud and busy, especially around here, so there is always a lot of foot traffic passing by our door. We mostly deal with different types of garments and try to keep things in stock as much as possible. Sometimes the traffic in Esplanade makes it hard for new stock to arrive on time, but we manage. The shop itself is simple. We don't have fancy lights or anything, just the usual racks and a small counter for the cash. It gets hot in the afternoons but we have fans going. Most of our regulars are people who work nearby or students who are out shopping for the day. We are open for most of the day and only close up when the street starts to get quiet. It’s just a basic local business trying to do its thing in a busy part of town. We don't really do much advertising, people just see us when they go for sweets nearby.
