Our office is located in Dum Dum House, specifically at Flat No. A3, 246/11 on R.B.C. Road in Kolkata. We are part of Kotak Mahindra Old Mutual Life Insurance Ltd. Even though the name is long, the office itself is just a regular flat where we do our work. We deal with life insurance papers and help people understand their policies. It's a lot of reading and explaining things in simple terms. The 700 028 area is quite busy, so there is always noise from the street coming through the windows. We have some desks and a lot of folders stacked up. People come in to pay their premiums or ask about their coverage. We try to keep it informal because insurance is already complicated enough. We don't wear fancy ties unless there’s a big meeting. Usually, we are just sitting here with a cup of tea, going through the daily paperwork. It’s a small team in this branch. We've been at the R.B.C. Road location for some time now, so the locals know where to find us. We don't do big advertisements. Most people just walk in because they live nearby. We just handle the forms and make sure the records are updated. It’s a steady job and we try to do it right. Nothing fancy, just an insurance office in a flat in Dum Dum. That’s our everyday routine.
