Vitthalai Farmer Producer Company Limited is located over in Kolhapur at Guruprasad Hights-1. We have a small space in Flat A-409 at R.S.No 181. It’s a bit different because we are in a building, but we are still very much tied to the land. Kolhapur is known for its farming, and we are part of that long tradition. We are a group of local producers who decided to organize formally. This helps us when we need to buy equipment or sell what we’ve grown. It's not a corporate setup. We are just friends and neighbors who have known each other for years. We don't use a lot of business jargon. We talk about rainfall, soil, and the cost of transport. Sometimes we meet at the office, but mostly we are out where the actual work happens. The company is a way for us to have a bit more say in how our products are handled. It’s a lot of work to keep the records straight, but it’s worth it. We don't have any big promises or fancy ads. We just show up every day and do the work. We want to make sure the farming life stays viable for the next generation. We are just regular people from Kolhapur trying to do right by our land. It keeps us busy.
