Varekar Classes

We started this small coaching center because we saw a lot of students needing a bit of extra help outside of their normal school hours. It’s not a big institution with hundreds of staff members. It’s mostly just us and a few tutors who come in to handle specific subjects like English or social studies. The building isn't new, so we have to deal with the usual old-building problems like a leaky tap or a fan that clicks too loudly. We spend a lot of our time sitting at the desk, marking papers and talking to parents who drop by after work. It’s hard work keeping up with all the different school boards and their changing patterns every year. We usually have classes running from Monday to Saturday, and Sunday is the only day the place is actually quiet. Sometimes we have to move chairs around to make space for a bigger group, but we manage. The students are generally good, though they complain about the homework we give them. It’s a basic business, really. We pay the bills, teach the lessons, and try to make sure everyone knows what they're supposed to be studying. It’s just how we spend our days in this part of town. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to use emergency lights, but the kids just keep working through it. Our door is almost always open for anyone who needs to check the schedule.
