Arafa Classes

Our place, Arafa Classes, is situated right on 100 Futee Road in Sangali. It’s a very busy stretch of road, especially near the Pakija Masjid. You can always hear the traffic passing by, the rickshaws and the bikes, but once you step inside, it feels a bit different. We’ve got a decent space here, nothing too big or small, just enough for the groups of students that come through every day. The masjid is a good landmark because everyone knows where it is, so new people never get lost trying to find us. We don’t spend much on decorations or fancy furniture. The chairs are the plastic kind that you can stack up when we need to sweep the floor. I usually arrive a bit early to make sure everything is in order before the students start trickling in from the nearby lanes. It’s a mix of different kids from all over the neighborhood. Sometimes the smell of food from the nearby stalls drifts in, making everyone hungry before the class is even over. We don’t have a website or anything like that; we just talk to people face to face. If a bulb blows out, we fix it ourselves. It’s a very hands-on way of running a business. We just stay focused on the books and the daily lessons. 100 Futee Road is a lively place to be, and we’re just one small part of it. It’s busy but we like the energy.
