Tulasi Agro Farmers Producer Company Limited

Our base is at House Number 370/3 in Pimpalgaon, which is in the Bhudargad area of Kolhapur. It’s a quiet spot, and the house serves as the main hub for our farmer group. We call ourselves Tulasi Agro. Kolhapur is known for its strong farming traditions, and we are just a small part of that. We don't have a big corporate office with glass walls. Instead, we have a simple room with some wooden benches and a desk where we keep our records. Most of our members are local farmers who have been working these fields for decades. We get together to talk about what we are growing and how to get the best price at the local market. Sometimes the roads to Pimpalgaon get a bit washed out during the heavy rains, which makes getting the crops out a bit of a challenge. We spend a lot of time helping each other out with equipment or labor when someone is behind schedule. There’s no fancy talk here, just plain English and talk about the soil. We aren't looking to expand into some giant company. We just want to make sure that our village stays strong and that we can keep farming the way we always have. It’s a humble way of working, but it’s ours. We don't need much more than a place to meet and a plan for the next season’s planting.
