Sujay Enterprises is out here in Shiroli Pulachi, which is part of the Hatkanangale Taluka in the Kolhapur district. Being in a place like this means things move at a different pace than the big cities. We have our workspace set up to handle the daily requirements of the local area. It is a practical environment. We have some basic machinery and a desk that is always covered in invoices and dusty ledgers. The weather in Kolhapur can get pretty hot, so we usually have the big fans blowing all day. Most of our neighbors are doing similar work or are involved in the local industries around here. We know the people in the village and the surrounding taluka. It is the kind of place where you recognize everyone who passes by. We don't have a corporate structure. It is mostly just us handling everything from the paperwork to moving the goods ourselves. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just have to sit and wait it out, maybe talk about the local news. We provide what the people here need without making a big fuss about it. The road outside can get a bit muddy during the monsoon, which makes deliveries a bit of a headache, but we manage. We just want to keep the doors open and do our work honestly.
