Out here in Midc Shiroli, things are always moving. Jai Mala Machine Tools has its spot on Sakal Press Road, right in the heart of the industrial zone in Kolhapur. It’s a loud place, to be honest. There’s always the sound of metal hitting metal or someone shouting over a running engine. We’ve got Plot No-W-49, and it’s basically a workshop where we deal with all sorts of machine parts and tools every single day. We don’t wear suits here. Most of us have grease on our hands by ten in the morning. If you walk into our place, you’ll see piles of iron and steel and half-finished projects waiting for the next step. It’s how we’ve always operated. We know most of the other shop owners on this road, and we often help each other out when a part goes missing or a machine breaks down unexpectedly. Kolhapur is known for this kind of work, and we’re just a small piece of that tradition. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements or shiny brochures. Our work talks for us, mostly through the people who keep coming back because they know we’re reliable. It’s a bit hot in the afternoons under the tin roof, but that’s just part of the job in Shiroli. We keep the doors open for the breeze and keep working until the sun goes down. It’s honest, hard work, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
