Ssr Industries

Ssr Industries operates out of Flat-103 on the E-Wing of the Vairona Building. This is part of the Krishna Heights complex on Devebagh Road. It might seem a bit unusual to have an industry based in a residential-style building, but we make it work in our space on the first floor. The building is usually quite busy with people coming and going from the other flats. We have set up our equipment in the main rooms of the flat. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze with all the materials and the desks, but we’ve organized it as best as we can. The windows look out over the parking area and a bit of Devebagh Road. We don't have a big sign outside, just a small nameplate on the door of the flat. Most of our day is spent at the computers or handling small-scale production tasks that don't make too much noise for the neighbors. Sometimes the lift is out of order, so we have to carry everything up the stairs, which is quite a workout. It’s not a shiny industrial park with huge warehouses. It’s a compact, practical setup where a few of us work together. We take our tea breaks on the small balcony when the weather is nice. It’s a simple way to run a business without the high costs of a big commercial factory. We’ve been in the E-Wing for a while and the security guards know us well. It’s just our daily routine.
