Taralekar Engineering Pvt. Ltd is based in the Gokul Shirgaon Industrial Area, specifically at B-23 in the MIDC section. It’s a typical industrial setup out here in Kolhapur. We’ve got a large shed where we do all the heavy engineering stuff. The air usually smells like cut metal and machine oil. We have a solid crew of workers who show up every morning on their bikes. We’ve been part of this industrial belt for quite a few years now. The work is mostly about precision, but the environment is rugged. We don't have fancy furniture in the office. It’s just metal cupboards and a few wooden chairs that have seen better days. During the monsoon, the rain hits the tin roof so hard we can barely hear ourselves think. We just keep our heads down and get through the orders. Whether it’s a big project or a small fix for a local client, we treat it the same. We don’t go in for big speeches or polished presentations. We just show people what we’ve made. Sometimes the logistics of getting materials in and out of the MIDC can be a headache, but we’re used to it by now. It’s a hard-working place with people who actually care about the parts they are making. That’s about it for us. No fluff, just machines and regular people working them.
