Sagar Engineering Works

We are located out in Shelgaon, right near the sugar factory in Tal-Karamala. It’s a quiet area mostly, except for when the factory is in full swing. Being at Ward -282A/P puts us right where the action is for local repairs and engineering jobs. Sagar Engineering Works isn't a massive factory itself, just a solid workshop with the right gear. We do a lot of work for the farmers around here and the occasional job for the factory too. It’s dusty work, especially in the dry season, but we don't mind that much. We’ve got the lathes and the welding machines all set up. My brother and I usually handle the technical stuff while a couple of local guys help out. You won't find us wearing suits or anything. It’s mostly blue overalls and grease under the fingernails. We don't really have a set closing time; if a job needs finishing, we stay until it's done. People just drive their tractors or trucks right up to the door. We’ve been here long enough that everyone knows the way. It’s a practical life, working with metal and fixing things that break down. We like being part of the community out here in Shelgaon. It's a bit of a drive from the main town, but we prefer it this way. Just honest work and trying to do right by the people who come to us with their broken machines and equipment.
