S M Karajgar Engineering Works

S M Karajgar Engineering Works is located over at Plot No. 1243/36 A, right in the Karajgar Chambers. We are on M G Karajgar Road in Shivaji Udyam Nagar. Ichalkaranji is known for this kind of work, so we fit right in with the other shops around here. The building has been in the family name for a while. It’s a busy area with a lot of noise and movement every day. We handle all sorts of engineering tasks that come our way. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings. We don't spend much time cleaning up for looks, just enough to keep working safely. Our team is small. Most of us have lived in this town our whole lives. When someone brings in a piece of equipment that’s broken, we take a look and see what can be done. There isn't any fancy talk here. We just use the lathes and the drills until the job is finished. It can get pretty loud when all the machines are running at once. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. That is just part of being in Shivaji Udyam Nagar. We know our neighbors and they know us. If you need something welded or machined, you just walk through the door. We don't have a receptionist. You’ll usually find us in the back with our sleeves rolled up and our hands dirty.
