Shri Samartha Classes

We operate Shri Samartha Classes out of Ram Janki Appt here in Sangli. Being inside an apartment building gives it a bit more of a quiet, residential feel compared to the shops on the main road. We use a couple of the rooms for the lessons, and we have tried to fit in as many desks as we can without making it feel too cramped for the students. The kids usually leave their footwear outside the door in a big pile, which is just how things are done here in our building. We don't have any high-end equipment, just some boards, markers, and a lot of printed notes that we hand out. The lighting is okay, though we sometimes have to move the tables around to get the best sunlight from the windows during the late afternoon. It is a very direct way of teaching; we just sit down with the books and go through the chapters one by one. If someone doesn't understand a concept, we go over it again until they do. There is no special magic to it, just regular effort every day. Sometimes the apartment neighbors are doing their own thing, so we try to keep the students from being too loud in the hallways. It is a small, honest operation where we focus on the schoolwork and try to keep things as organized as we possibly can.
