Satvik Food Products

We’ve been here on Burudgaon Road for a good while now. Our place is called Satvik Food Products and it is tucked away at Anamijyoti, which is in the Ausarkar Mala area, right behind Sagar Videocon. It isn't a big or fancy setup, just a regular local business where we make various food items. Most of the day is spent in the back handling production or packing stuff up for the local shops. We started this because we wanted to make food that tasted like what we grew up eating. It’s often loud with the machines running and there is usually a lot of flour or spices in the air depending on what we are making that day. We don’t have any marketing experts or a corporate team. It’s just us and a few helpers who have been with us for years. The building itself is quite simple and we spend more time worrying about the quality of our batches than how the office looks. Sometimes the deliveries get delayed because of the traffic on Burudgaon Road, but we try to manage as best we can. We know most of the people around here by their first names and they often stop by to see what is fresh. It’s hard work and the hours are long, especially when we have big orders to finish, but it’s what we know. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, just a steady one that people can rely on.
