Dalmia Bharat Sugar Industrial Center

We are based out in V Asurle Porle. It’s more of a rural setting compared to the big city centers. This is where the sugar industrial center is located. It’s a large site because of the nature of the work. You can see the facility from quite a distance. There’s a lot of movement during the harvest season with tractors and trucks coming in and out. The air often smells like sugar and earth. It’s a busy place, but it has its own rhythm. We have some offices on the site where we handle the records and the logistics. It’s not fancy at all. The floors are concrete and the furniture is old. We spend a lot of time outdoors or in the main production areas checking on things. It’s a community here, really. Most of the people working come from the surrounding villages. We’ve been part of this landscape for a long time. It’s hard work, especially when the weather is tough. We don't have a lot of visitors from the city, mostly just vendors and transporters. We keep our operations running day and night during the peak times. It’s a very practical environment. We don't focus on aesthetics, just on getting the sugar processed and moved out. It’s what we do, and we’ve been doing it this way for years. We don't have much time for small talk when the season is in full swing.
