Weekender Restobar

Our place is located right on Dr. Ambedkar Road in Sangli, specifically near Zulelal Chowk. It’s a pretty easy spot to find if you are familiar with the area. We named it Weekender Restobar because we wanted a place where people could just sit back after a long week of work. Sangli is a busy town, and by the time Friday rolls around, everyone is looking for a bit of a break. We have been here for a bit now, watching the traffic go by the chowk. The evenings are usually our busiest time when the lights go up and people start heading out for dinner or a drink. It isn't a very formal place. We like it better when people feel like they can just come in as they are. The chairs are comfortable enough, and the music isn't so loud that you can't talk. We spend a lot of time making sure the bar is stocked and the kitchen has what it needs. Sometimes the street outside gets blocked up with bikes, but that’s just life in this part of town. We don't have any grand speeches about what we do. We just open up, serve the people who come in, and close up late at night. It’s honest work and we like seeing the regulars who have been coming since we first started. It feels like a part of the community now.
