Laxmi Food Industries

Laxmi Food Industries is based out of D-102/2 in the MIDC area of Miraj. We also have a presence at 9 Bipin Vijay Super Market, which is a bit of a different vibe compared to the industrial zone. In the MIDC part, it’s mostly about the processing and making sure everything is handled right. Miraj is a busy place, and being near Shree Mahalaxmi makes it easy for people to find us. The workspace is filled with the smell of whatever food items we are dealing with that day. It’s a very hands-on kind of job. We spend a lot of time checking bags and making sure the weights are correct. The shop in the super market is where we see more of the local faces. It’s smaller and gets quite packed on weekends when everyone is out doing their shopping. We have a few staff members who have been with us since we started. They know most of the regular customers by name. It’s not a corporate office with fancy carpets; it’s more of a place where you’ll see people wearing aprons and moving heavy sacks. We keep our ledgers in a drawer and use a basic calculator for the bills. The ceiling fans hum all day long. Sometimes we share snacks during the afternoon lull when the market is a bit quieter. It’s a simple life here, just focusing on food and the local market needs.
