Sarovar Foods

Sarovar Foods is located at Plot No- F-7 in the Shivdatta Residency. We’re right on the 100Ft Road in Vishrambagh, which is a pretty busy part of town. There’s always cars honking and people rushing by to get to work or the market. Being in a residential building means we have to be a bit careful about the noise, but everyone around here is used to us by now. The shop is small and we’ve packed it with as much as we can fit on the shelves. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped when we get a big delivery, but we manage to find a spot for everything eventually. We spend a lot of time chatting with the people who live in the apartments above us. They stop in to see what’s new or just to say hello while they’re out for a walk. The 100Ft Road gets really bright in the afternoons, and the sun hits the front of the shop directly, so we usually keep the shade down for a few hours. We aren't trying to be some big corporate chain or anything like that. We’re just a local food business trying to keep things organized. My brother and I usually handle the counter and the stocking ourselves. It’s a lot of standing on your feet and moving boxes around, but it’s okay. We like the neighborhood and the people make the long days feel a lot shorter than they actually are.
