Revolutionary Agro-Business Hub Producer Company Limited

This company is based out of Kalidas Mahadik’s place in Newari. Newari is a quiet spot in Kadegaon Taluka. We called it a hub because we wanted a central place for everyone to bring their produce and figure out the business side of things. It sounds like a big name, but we are just a small group of people working out of a home office area. Kadegaon has a lot of potential, but sometimes it feels like we are far from the big markets. That is why we started this producer company. We spend a lot of time on the phone or meeting farmers on their porches. It is mostly about trying to find better ways to sell what we grow here in the village. The roads around here can be a bit rough after the monsoon, so getting things moved takes some planning. We keep things simple. There isn't any fancy equipment, just some basic tools and a lot of record books. Most of the people involved have been farming their whole lives. We just felt it was time to organize a bit better so we don't get left behind. It’s not always easy to get everyone on the same page, but we are trying. If you ask anyone in Newari where the Mahadik house is, they will point you the right way. We are usually there working on something and trying to stay busy.
