Paranjape Classes

We have been running Paranjape Classes in Sangli 416416 for quite a few years. The place is tucked away a bit, so it stays a little quieter than the main streets. We like it that way. It helps the students focus. The interior is very basic. We have some old wooden benches that have been around since we started. They are solid, though, and they do the job just fine. We don't have a lot of modern technology here. We still think a good old-fashioned chalkboard is the best way to explain things. There is something about the sound of the chalk that makes it feel like a real classroom. We don't have any fancy mission statements or things like that. We just show up every morning and wait for the students to arrive. We spend most of our time going through textbooks and solving problems on the board. It can be repetitive, but it’s what we are good at. Sangli is a nice community to be a part of. We know the local shops and the people who run them. When we aren't teaching, we are usually just prepping for the next day's work. It’s a very steady, predictable life, and we are quite happy with it. We don't see any reason to change how we do things after all this time. It is just about doing honest work for the local families here.
