Opal Hotel

You can find us in Kolhapur at 2104/16 A E Ward, right on the Old Pune Bangalore Road. We are sitting opposite the MAI Hyundai showroom and we are quite close to Tararani Chowk and Shivaji Park. This is a very busy part of the city because of all the traffic moving between Pune and Bangalore. Our hotel has been here for a long time, and we mostly cater to people who are traveling for business or families on a road trip. It is not one of those new, shiny hotels made of glass. It’s a sturdy building that has seen many years of guests coming and going. We have rooms for staying and a dining area where we serve local food. Kolhapur is known for its specific style of cooking, and we try to keep that authentic. The staff here is mostly local, and they know the area well. Outside, the road is always humming with the sound of buses and trucks. We don't have a big management team; it’s more of a family-run operation where everyone chips in. We spend a lot of time cleaning and making sure things are in order for the next guest. It’s a simple, honest business. We don't use any fancy language to describe ourselves. We just offer a place to rest and a meal to eat before you move on.
