Green Field Resort

Green Field Resort is situated right on the Kolhapur Ratnagiri Highway. You will find us near the petrol pump in the Rajputwadi area. We call it a resort, but it is really a simple place for people to stop when they are driving between the coast and the city. There is a bit of open space around the building which is nice because the highway gets so loud and busy. We have some rooms for people who are too tired to keep driving and a dining area for those who just need a break. It is not like those luxury hotels you see in magazines. Our rooms have the basics like a bed and a fan. Outside, we try to keep some greenery alive, though the dust from the road makes it hard sometimes. Being near the petrol pump means we get a lot of truck drivers and families stopping to stretch their legs. The kitchen serves mostly local Maharashtrian dishes that we know how to make well. We don't have a big team, just a few of us managing the front desk and the kitchen. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to switch to the generator, which is just part of living out here. It is a practical spot for a traveler who needs a rest and a plate of hot food. We don't do anything fancy, just the essentials for anyone passing through Rajputwadi.
