New Fayeko Engineering Works

We are out here on Tarbal Road, right at Plot No-10 in Hathknagle. It’s near the Sunrise G Factory, which most people around Kohlapur know if they live in this district. At New Fayeko Engineering Works, there is always the sound of machines or someone welding something in the back. It gets pretty loud and dusty, but that is just the nature of work. We’ve got a small crew of guys who have been with us for years and they know exactly what needs to be done. We wear old clothes because everything gets covered in oil and iron filings anyway. The workshop isn't very pretty, just some tin roofing and concrete floors that have seen better days. We spend our days dealing with parts that people need for their own machines. Sometimes a customer comes in with a broken piece and we have to figure out how to get it working again. It takes a lot of time and a bit of patience. We have a small tea stall just down the road where we go for breaks to get away from the noise. The sun gets really strong over the workshop roof in the afternoons. We don't use any big words to describe what happens here. It's just manual work and using our hands to get the job finished. Sometimes we stay late if a job is really urgent. That's just the way it goes here in Hathknagle. We pack up when the light goes and head home.
