We are Nari Jagruti Women Farmers Producer Company Limited. Our group works out of Ward Number 7 in Badaraipada. If you are looking for us, we are at Muktikanta Dash’s place on Plot 1168. Kotapur is where we all live and grow our crops. It is not a fancy office or anything like that. Just a bunch of local women trying to manage our farming better by working as one group. We spend most of our days out in the fields or meeting up to discuss seeds and what the market looks like lately. Sometimes it is hard to get everyone together because of housework and the kids, but we manage. The 755008 area is our home. We deal with whatever crops are in season. It is mostly about helping each other out so we don't have to face the big buyers alone. We have been doing this for a bit now. People in the village know us. We are just trying to make a decent living from the land we have. It is plain work, honestly. No big secrets here. We just sit together, plan the next harvest, and try to get a fair price for what we grow. Being a women's company means we understand each other’s problems well. If you come by Badaraipada, you will probably see some of us working near the plot. We are just normal farmers trying to get by. There is always something to do, whether it is weeding or packing up the harvest.
