Mohan Hotel

We are located on Mahadwar Road in Kolhapur, very close to the Ambabai Temple. If you have ever been to the temple, you know how crowded and loud Jotiba Road can get. Mohan Hotel is right in that busy mix. We see a lot of people every day, mostly pilgrims who have traveled from far away to visit the temple. They come in tired and looking for a place to sit. The street outside is always full of people selling flowers and small items for the deity. We have been here for a good amount of time and have seen the area change, though the temple stays the same. The building we are in is old, like most things in this part of Kolhapur. It has that classic feel. We don't try to make it look like a modern city hotel because that wouldn't fit here. We keep the rooms as tidy as possible, but it’s an old structure so there’s always something to fix. The bells from the temple can be heard throughout the day, which is actually quite nice once you get used to it. Our staff is just a few local guys who know the city well.
