Khot Classes

Khot Classes is situated over in Rajarampuri, which is a busy area in Ichalkaranji. We also end up helping a lot of people from Kolhapur since they often travel between the two places. It’s a bit of a commute for some, but we’ve been at this address for a while now. The space is fairly straightforward. We have a main room for the bigger groups and a smaller corner for individual questions. It’s not one of those polished centers you see in the big cities. We have wooden benches that have been around for years and some old posters on the walls. It feels like a real place of work. In the afternoons, it gets quite bright inside when the sun hits the windows. We usually have the door open to let some air in, even if it means a bit of street noise comes with it. Running a place in Rajarampuri means being part of the local mess. There’s always someone moving goods or a bike parked where it shouldn't be. We don’t mind it much. We just focus on the books and the students. There’s no marketing department here. If someone wants to join, they usually just show up at the door and ask for the timing. We tell them what we teach and when they should come back. It’s simple and honest work we do here every single day. We don't make it complicated. We just focus on the chapters that need to be finished.
