Khodave Farmers Producer Company Limited

Starting out in Chandreradhanagari wasn't something we planned to be a big deal. We just lived here at 539 and saw how everyone was doing things on their own. Farming in this area has its ups and downs, you know how it is with the weather and the prices never being quite right. So, a few of us got together to form Khodave Farmers Producer Company Limited. It’s mostly just us neighbors trying to figure out how to sell what we grow without getting a bad deal every single time. We spend a lot of our days out in the fields or sitting around talking about what seeds to get next. It isn't fancy here. Our office is just a place where we keep our papers and meet up when the sun gets too hot. People come by, we talk about the crops, and we try to help each other move things to the market. Sometimes it works out great, and other times it’s a bit of a struggle, but that’s just how life is when you’re working with the land. We don’t have any big marketing team or anything like that. It is just us, the local guys from the village, trying to make sure our families can keep going. We know the soil around here pretty well since we’ve been on it our whole lives. That’s about it really. We’re just here in Chandreradhanagari doing what we know how to do, day in and day out.
