Khandoba Rice Udyog Samuh

We have been running Khandoba Rice Udyog Samuh in Kale Village for a good while now. It is situated right near the bus stand in Panhala Taluka, so you probably see the trucks coming and going if you live around here. Working with rice is what we do every single day. The mill gets pretty loud when the machines are humming, but that is just part of the job. Most of the people working here are from the village or nearby. We spend our mornings checking the grain and making sure things are moving through the cleaners properly. It is not fancy work. My hands are usually dusty by noon. We deal with the local farmers who bring their harvest in. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, but we manage to get the work finished. People know where to find us because the bus stand is such a busy spot. You just walk past the main road and there we are. We try to keep the place organized, though there is always some husk or grain on the floor by the end of the shift. It is a steady life here in Panhala. We do not have any big corporate office or anything like that, just the shed and the machinery and a few desks for the paperwork. That is how we like it, honestly. It keeps us busy and connected to the land around us.
