We set up Kanaya Agritech Farmer Producer Company Limited a while back. It’s mostly just us folks from Kasbe Tadwala working together on the farm stuff. Ramesh Hogale lets us use his place at H No 1712 for the paperwork and meetings. It gets a bit crowded sometimes but we manage. Farming around here is hard work, as anyone in the village knows. We figured it was better to join up instead of trying to handle everything alone. There’s always someone coming by to talk about the crops or seeds. We don't have a big fancy office with chairs. Mostly we just sit and talk about what needs doing for the next season. It’s not a big corporate thing, just a bunch of us trying to get a fair shake. The rains haven't been great lately, so we spend a lot of time worrying about that. We try to help each other out with equipment when we can. Sometimes the paperwork gets confusing, but we're learning as we go. It’s about being practical and helping the families around Kasbe Tadwala stay on their feet.
