Joshi Accadamy

Joshi Accadamy is tucked away in Gurudatta Appartments on Sambhare Road. It’s right in front of the Jainbasti in the Gavbhag area of Sangli. Being in an apartment building means it’s a bit quieter than being right on the main road. We use a couple of the rooms for our sessions. The balcony looks out over the street, and sometimes we stand out there for a break. Inside, the furniture is a bit mismatched. We’ve picked up chairs and tables over the years as we needed them. It’s not a polished office. It feels more like a home, honestly. We have a small kitchen area where we make tea. The students know where everything is. It’s a local spot, so everyone usually knows each other or lives a few streets away. The Jainbasti across the way is a good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. We don’t have a big fancy sign, just a small board near the gate. It gets busy in the evenings when the street lights come on. We spend our time going through notes and helping with homework. There’s always the sound of pens scratching on paper. We don't have a lot of technology, just the basics. It’s a very straightforward way of doing things. We’ve been in this spot for a while and we like the community in Gavbhag. It’s just a regular day-to-day business.
