Living in Kolhapur means we deal with a lot of rain and different kinds of soil than they have up north. We are a small group of producers who decided to pool our resources together so we could have a better chance at the market. Our office is just a room in a house where we keep our records and meet to discuss the season. We don't have any polished marketing or a big staff. It is just us, the people who are actually out in the fields every day. We talk about things like sugar cane or whatever else is growing well that year.
