Al Rizaan Rice Mill

Al Rizaan Rice Mill is found along the main road in Scenar Dehri Sahupuri, right in the Ghatage Colony area of Kadamwadi. We are situated directly opposite the Jain Mandir, which is a nice landmark for anyone trying to find us. The location is quite active with cars and motorbikes passing by at all hours. Our mill is a functional space, built to get the job done without any unnecessary frills. Inside, the air is often thick with the smell of toasted grain and the sound of the motors is constant. We have a small area where we keep the records, mostly just a desk and some old metal filing cabinets. The floor is made of hard concrete and is always a bit dusty, no matter how much we sweep. Our team consists of local workers who have been with us for years. They know exactly how the machines should sound when they are running right. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or advertisements. We just focus on the daily grind of processing the rice that arrives at our gates. It is a simple, honest way to make a living. Sometimes we sit outside on the bench during our lunch break and watch the people going into the temple across the road. It is just a normal, everyday business in a busy part of the town, doing what we know how to do.
