World Class Marble

We’ve been here on Makrana Road for a good while now. Being so close to the Marble Mandi in Madanganj means it’s always busy around here. You can hear the trucks coming and going all day long. It gets pretty dusty, especially in the summer when the wind picks up, but that’s just how it is in this business. My father started things out, and now we just keep it going. We spend most of our time out in the yard checking the slabs and making sure everything is where it should be. Sometimes the sun is really beating down on the white stone and it’s hard to even look at it without squinting. We don’t have a fancy office or anything like that. Just a small place to sit and some tea for whoever stops by. People come in looking for something specific for their floors, and we walk around the blocks with them. It takes time to find the right piece. We aren’t in a huge rush. If you know the area, you know where we are, right near the main market hub. The machines make a lot of noise, but you get used to it after a few years. It’s honest work, moving heavy things and keeping the inventory straight. We just try to stay busy and keep the gates open every morning.
