Veena Marbles

Veena Marbles is right in the New Morwad Market area on Makrana Road in Madanganj. Being around here means we are surrounded by stone all the time. It is a noisy part of town with all the trucks and cutting machines going, but we are used to it by now. We spend most of our mornings just checking the inventory and making sure everything is where it should be. The dust gets everywhere, on our clothes and in the office, but that is part of the job. People come to us when they are building something new or fixing up an old floor. We have different batches of marble coming in regularly, so the stock is always changing a little bit. It is not always perfect, some slabs have more character than others, but that is the nature of natural stone. We just show people what we have in the stacks. If someone needs a specific size, we see if we can make it work. It’s a simple way of doing things. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles here. Just some good stone and a place to store it. The market gets crowded on certain days, which makes it harder to load the trucks, but we manage. We’ve been at this for a while and we plan to stay right here on Makrana Road for the foreseeable future, just doing what we know.
