Our place, Vishal Marbles Pvt. Ltd., is situated at B-85 A on Paryavaran Marg. Madanganj is a big hub for this kind of work, and we are just one of the many yards you'll see along the road. We have a lot of slabs standing up in rows, and we spend most of our time walking between them with customers. It's funny how you get used to the smell of wet stone and the sound of the cutters in the distance. We aren't trying to be anything fancy. We just have the stone here and we wait for people to come by and take a look. Some of the marble has really nice veins and some is just plain, but everyone likes something different. The yard can get pretty crowded when a new shipment arrives. We have to be careful with the forklifts because it's easy to bump into things in the narrow aisles. It's a lot of physical labor, keeping the yard clean-ish and making sure the slabs are safe and won't fall over. We have been doing this for years, so we’ve seen all kinds of stone come through here. We don't use big words to describe what we sell. It is just marble, and it is what it is. We hope people find what they need and that the stone looks okay once it is actually installed in a house or building.
