Tirupati Marble & Granite

The Riico Industrial Area in Madanganj is a pretty busy place. We are right there at Plot No. G-80. It’s on the Jaipur Road, so there are always heavy trucks rumbling by. We are quite close to the Balaji Mandir, which is a good landmark if you are looking for us. Tirupati Marble & Granite has been operating from this yard for years. It’s a lot of stone and a lot of dust. You can’t really keep things clean in this line of work. We wear heavy boots and spend the day moving slabs around. It’s physical work. The sun can be brutal in Rajasthan, but that’s just part of the job. We don’t have a fancy office with air conditioning that works all the time. Mostly, we are outside or in the shed. The industrial area has its own rhythm. Everyone is busy with their own thing. We know the neighbors, and we see the same truck drivers every week. It’s a routine. We handle marble and granite, mostly just getting it ready for whoever needs it. We aren't a big corporate chain. It’s a local business through and through. The Balaji Mandir nearby gives the place a bit of a peaceful feeling even with all the machines running. We just focus on the slabs and getting them loaded right. Most days it's just hard work and the smell of cut stone.
