Sumit Stonex

We are located over by the Power House in Roopnagar, right on the Makrana Road. It’s easy to find us because you can see the big lines nearby. This part of the Industrial Area is always moving. At Sumit Stonex, we don’t really do anything fancy. We just get the stone in, cut it when it needs cutting, and wait for the trucks to pick it up. The yard gets pretty hot during the day, so we try to get the heavy work done early in the morning. I’ve lived around here my whole life and started working with stone when I was a teenager. It’s a tough trade on your back and your hands. We have stacks of slabs everywhere, and sometimes it feels like we’re running out of room. We try to keep things organized, but when it’s busy, things just end up where they fit. We don’t have a big sales team or anything. It’s usually just me or one of the guys at the front. If a customer wants to see something, we just walk out there and show them. No big speeches or brochures. We know the stone, and they usually know what they want. It’s a simple way to make a living, even if it’s a bit messy. We’re just here every day.
