Sudha Marble

Sudha Marble is situated at Plot No. H-158 in the third phase of the RIICO industrial area in Madanganj. It’s out here in the Ajmer district where all the stone business happens. Our plot is right in the middle of a busy block. We have various types of marble lying around the yard. Some of it has been here for a while, and some just came off the truck yesterday. We don't use any fancy sales talk. Usually, someone walks in, asks the price, and walks around the yard to see the quality for themselves. The ground is always covered in that white marble dust that sticks to everything. We have a small room at the front where we keep the ledger and some water for visitors. It’s mostly my family running things here. We deal with whatever stone is available from the mines at the time. The cranes hum all day long as they lift the heavy blocks. It can be quite loud when the cutting machines in the next plot are running, but that's just life in Phase III. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy. People know us by the plot number or just by seeing the slabs we have out front. It’s a steady routine of loading and unloading, day after day. We just try to get the work done before it gets too dark to see.
