Soni Marble Traders

Soni Marble Traders is situated on Makrana Road within the Industrial Area of Madanganj. This part of town is always moving and there is never a quiet moment. There are trucks everywhere and the air is thick with the smell of stone and diesel. We have our yard set up right on the main road so it is easy to find us. We keep a good stock of different marbles and stones out in the open. I spend my mornings checking the inventory and talking to the drivers who bring in the raw blocks from the quarries. Customers drive down Makrana Road looking for something specific for their new homes. We walk them through the rows of slabs so they can see the veins and colors for themselves. It is manual work, moving these heavy pieces around so people can get a better look. We don't use any fancy sales tricks or promotional brochures. We just show what is available today in the yard. Sometimes we have a lot of one color and other times it is hard to find. That is the nature of dealing with natural stone. The office is just a simple room where we do the paperwork and drink tea during breaks. It’s a local business and we know the other traders around Madanganj well. We have been in this spot for years and plan to stay. It is a busy life but it is good to see the stone go out.
