Shri Shayam Marble

We've been here on Harmara Road for a long time now. Most people find us by looking for the Shaktisali Kanta lane, right across from Kishangarh Granite. It's a busy spot in the industrial area. We spend most of our days out in the yard moving slabs around and talking to people who come in looking for something specific for their floors. It gets pretty dusty out here in Madanganj, especially when the wind picks up. We have a lot of different stones stacked up. Some are white, some have more grey veins. It depends on what came in on the last truck. We just try to keep things organized so people can actually see what they are buying. My brother and I usually handle the loading ourselves. It is heavy work and the sun gets hot by noon, but that's just how the marble business is. Sometimes the cranes act up and we have to fix them before we can get anything done. We don't have a big office or anything fancy, just a small cabin where we sit and drink tea when it’s quiet. If you are driving down Shaktisali Kanta Ki Gali, you will see our sign. We are usually here from early morning until the sun goes down. Most of our neighbors are doing the same thing. It is a noisy place with all the trucks going by, but we are used to it by now. We just focus on our own yard.
