Shri Ram Marble

Shri Ram Marble is located in the Industrial Area, not too far from Uttam Nagar. It is an easy enough place to find if you know your way around the warehouses. Our yard is usually busy from early in the morning. We start by splashing some water on the slabs so people can see the real colors hidden under the dust. That is a big part of the job, just keeping things visible for the visitors. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just us here at the site. The work is physically hard. We are constantly moving pieces, checking for cracks, and organizing the inventory by size and quality. Being near Uttam Nagar means we get a mix of local builders and people just looking for a bit of stone for a small project. Every day is a bit different depending on what kind of stone arrives on the trucks. Sometimes we get really nice white pieces, other times it is more grey or patterned. We just take what the earth gives us and try to get it to the people who need it. The machines hum in the background all day long. It is a steady rhythm. We have a small desk where we handle the bills, but most of our time is spent outside on the floor. It is honest work and we like being part of this industrial community. We just focus on the stone and the daily tasks. It keeps the bills paid.
