Shree Rana Marble

Our place is located in the Ricco Industrial Area, specifically on 2nd Road in the Paryavaran part. If you’re looking for us, we’re right near the big marble godown that everyone knows. It’s a busy area with a lot of noise and trucks constantly moving back and forth all day long. We started this marble business because we know the material well and it seemed like a good way to make a living. It’s not a glamorous job by any means. We spend a lot of time checking the slabs and making sure the cuts are okay for the customers. The dust is everywhere, and our clothes usually show it by noon. We have a small crew here, mostly guys who have lived around here their whole lives and know the trade. We don't use big words or try to act like some corporate office. It's just a workshop and a storage space really. Sometimes we have a lot of stock sitting around, and other times we’re waiting for the next shipment to come in from the quarries. We just deal with whoever walks in the gate. Usually, it's contractors or families trying to finish their floors. We try to be fair and just show them what we have on the racks. It can be hot in the summer under the tin roof, but we’re used to it. We keep a pot of tea going most of the day to stay awake. If you drop by, you’ll probably find us moving some stone around or loading a truck.
