Shakmbhri Marble Traders

We've been here on Parbtsar Road for quite a while now. Most people know us because we're right near the HP Petrol Pump in Roopangarh. It's a busy spot with all the trucks passing through, but we like it that way. We deal in marble, mostly. The yard is usually full of slabs leaning against each other. Some days it's dusty and loud, other days it's just quiet work under the sun. We started Shakmbhri Marble Traders because there was a real need for a local supplier in this area. People come by, look at the stone, and we talk about what they need for their floors or kitchen walls. It isn't a fancy setup. We just have a lot of marble sitting out where you can see it. If you're driving toward Parbtsar, you can't really miss our sign. We keep things pretty simple here. There's no big air-conditioned office or anything, just the stone and the tools we use to move the heavy pieces around. My cousin helps out sometimes, and we have a few guys who handle the heavy lifting. Moving marble is hard work, honestly. Your back usually hurts by the end of the day. But we enjoy seeing the different patterns in the stone when a new load comes in from the quarry. Every block is a bit different. Some have more veins, some are lighter or darker. We just try to keep a decent stock so people have choices.
