Santosh Stonex

At Santosh Stonex, we spend our time at E-226 on Paryavaran Marg. This is part of the RIICO Industrial Area in Madanganj. It’s a place where you really see the grit of the industry. There is always a layer of white dust on the vehicles parked outside. We handle a lot of heavy material every day. It takes a lot of effort to move these things around without causing any damage. The sun beats down on the yard in the afternoons, so we try to get the heaviest work done early. We have a small crew and we all know each other's families. It feels more like a small community than a big company. We don’t have a big marketing budget or a team of people writing fancy things about us. It’s just us and the stone. We listen to what the customers need and we see if we can help them out with what we have in the yard. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to spend the whole day fixing them. That is just part of the job. Paryavaran Marg is a busy street, so there is always someone passing by or stopping to ask a question. We like the pace of things here. It keeps us on our toes. Every day is a bit different depending on what kind of stone arrives from the quarries. We just keep going until the yard is empty.
