Sanjay Marbles

We set up Sanjay Marbles here on Makrana Road quite some time back. It is a busy spot near the N.R.L. Petrol Pump in Madanganj, so there is always noise from the trucks going by. Most days we are just here moving slabs around or talking to people who stop in. The dust from the stone is part of the life here, and you get used to it after a week. We keep the gate open from early morning and usually stay until it gets dark. People know us as the place near the petrol station. It isn’t a fancy setup with air conditioning or anything like that. We have a small desk and a few chairs for when someone wants to sit down and discuss what they need for their house. Sometimes the weather gets really hot and the stone stays warm to the touch even late in the evening. We just do our work day by day and try to keep things organized. If you are driving down Makrana Road, you will see our sign. It’s a simple business, and there is nothing complicated about how we run things. We handle the heavy stuff and make sure the loading gets done right so the pieces don’t break. My cousin helps out sometimes when it gets crowded. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who know how to handle the material. That’s pretty much how things go around here at our spot in Madanganj.
