Our factory is located on Tukada Road within the Riico Industrial Area in Madanganj. It’s a very industrial place with a lot of noise from other machines nearby. We have the saws running most of the day, cutting through marble blocks. The water runs over the blades to keep them cool, so the floor is always a bit wet and messy. We spend our time checking the cuts and making sure the slabs are the right size. Madanganj is famous for stone, and we are just one part of that whole scene. It’s not a clean job. You go home every night covered in white slurry from the marble. We have a few guys working the machines and others moving the finished pieces to the storage area. We’ve been in this Riico area for years. The sun beats down on the metal roof of the shed, making it pretty warm inside. We usually have the radio playing to pass the time while we work. We don't have a fancy showroom. If you want to see what we have, you just walk through the stacks of marble in the yard. We mostly sell to wholesalers and people who know exactly what they are looking for. It’s a lot of hard work, but we are used to it. We just keep our heads down and focus on getting the slabs cut right.
