Sajjan Marble

If you drive down the Jaipur Bye Pass Road, you will see a lot of dust and trucks. That is where we are. Sajjan Marble has been sitting on this stretch of road for a long time. It is a noisy place with all the traffic going by, but you get used to it. The sun gets really hot on the stones during the afternoon. We spend most of our time out there or in the small office area. There isn't much shade except for what we built. People stop by when they are passing through. It’s a straightforward way to do business. We have the slabs lined up so people can see them from the road. No fancy showrooms here. Just the materials and us. We deal with the heavy lifting every day. It’s hard work and your hands get rough. The Jaipur Bye Pass Road is always moving, and we are just a fixed point on it. We’ve seen the road change over the years. More traffic now than there used to be. Some days the wind kicks up the sand and it’s hard to see across the yard. We just keep at it though. Sajjan Marble is what it says on the sign. Nothing more, nothing less. It’s a simple operation and we like it that way. We don't have a big marketing team. Just us and the stone. We work until it gets dark and then we lock up.
